I'm doing a game show in San Francisco November 11, 2007 10:53 PM   Subscribe

The Projects section seems more geared towards web/internet projects. Would posting my show info in Projects be appropriate?

If it's got a website or a web component, sure. We should someday put in a gigfilter for stuff like this.

Haven't finished the promo page yet {which would essential be the show writeup and some graphics} but when I do I could post it?

Signs point to yes

You may rely on it

Better not tell you now

As I see it, yes

Ask again later

Cannot predict now

Concentrate and ask again

Don't count on it

It is certain

It is decidedly so

Most likely

My reply is no

My sources say no

Outlook good

Outlook not so good

Reply hazy, try again

Very doubtful

Yes

Without a doubt

Yes - definitely

You may rely on it

Here, I've made you all a group on Upcoming. Now can we please all join this, and then we can stop having this discussion every week.

Perhaps an all-purpose filter for non-web projects? I'm thinking announcements for books published, CDs released, art exhibits, etc.

Recently in the shower, the soap slipped out of my hand and landed on the floor of the tub. I had soap in my eyes, so I couldn't pick it up. Instead I found the soap with my toes and kicked it to the back of the tub, calculating that it would ride the curve up the edge of the tub and then pop into the air, where I could grab it with my eyes closed. WHICH I DID. Would posting this achievement in Projects be OK?

You just have to figure out the naming so that it can be referred to colloquially as LookAtMe. LookAtMeeeeeeeeeeee!

If you didn't document it, it didn't really happen.
