The Projects section seems more geared towards web/internet projects. Would posting my show info in Projects be appropriate?

If it's got a website or a web component, sure. We should someday put in a gigfilter for stuff like this.

Perhaps an all-purpose filter for non-web projects? I'm thinking announcements for books published, CDs released, art exhibits, etc.

Recently in the shower, the soap slipped out of my hand and landed on the floor of the tub. I had soap in my eyes, so I couldn't pick it up. Instead I found the soap with my toes and kicked it to the back of the tub, calculating that it would ride the curve up the edge of the tub and then pop into the air, where I could grab it with my eyes closed. WHICH I DID. Would posting this achievement in Projects be OK?

You just have to figure out the naming so that it can be referred to colloquially as LookAtMe. LookAtMeeeeeeeeeeee!
