Where are my check marks? March 29, 2008 8:01 PM   Subscribe

Minor interface annoyance: on the AskMe category pages in the sidebar, answered questions don't show check marks as they do on the front page.

For example. Some of the questions on that page have marked best answers but there's no way to tell without clicking them.

Good point, we should add that.

Piggyback: On the Unanswered tab, the [more inside] links aren't, in fact, links. My Favorites and Answered don't have [more inside] at all, so I'm not sure what the intent was (particularly since Popular Favorites has [more inside] links that do work).

Oh, and My Favorites and Popular Favorites don't have best-answer checks either, if we're looking to standardize that.

OK, I realize now that AskMe's Popular Favorites tab is the only non "Recent Posts" tab on the entire site to feature functional [more inside] links, so maybe that's the weirdo that needs squashing for the sake of standards. Though really, I like seeing [more inside]s. They're the promise of a crunchy center.
