Can't find it. June 29, 2008 3:24 PM   Subscribe

I'm looking for a member's homepage that was a collection of weird and interesting facts. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

It wasn't Neatorama and it wasn't Damn Interesting. It was a visually simple page with a white background and a fairly large collection of links. One of its posts was the first ever clear picture of a human, which turned out to be some guy getting his boots shined in Paris.

I remember someone linking to it in a comment in the blue. I also remember it being a member's homepage that was linked through their profile. Now if only I could remember the name. Can anyone help?

In the future, can we stretch these things out more? It's better that way. Maybe some false leads and red herrings? Who knows what might turn up?

cool site!

We could just ignore the correct answer staring us in the face and continue on to a fruitless argument. It's the human thing to do.

We should pretend that was the wrong answer and keep guessing. There must be some more super-nifty member pages around.

Did that guy who did the weird/incorrect racism cartoons keep it up?

I think it must have been blort.

Well, no one marked it as "best answer", and there's no "resolved" tag, so technically it's still fair game.

Was it chucknorrisfacts.com?

Indeed! Here's one of my favorite miscellany sites run by a MeFier: jammy's wonderful mixin' jam.

Well, you should have used the edit window, shouldn't you? Oh, that's right, users over 20,000 don't have one. Forget I said anything.

wow - to be honest I had no idea anyone ever looked at ye olde mixin' jam.

so thank you, flapjax at midnite! I'm glad you enjoyed it. coming from you that means a lot (being one of best FPPers on this site). just want to note, though, that I haven't done anything with mixin' jam in some time so a few of the links may be wonky or dead, especially the news items & music links.
