List of Mefites on different social networks August 5, 2008 8:02 AM   Subscribe

I thought there was a page that listed Mefites on different social networks, i.e. Mefites on Flickr, Twitter, et al, with their associated usernames on said sites. I'm not thinking of the aggregated twitter/flickr pages. Or am I? Did I dream this?

You did not dream this. But I can't recall the address of it.

There's a list (with a dumb name) of many random MeFi pages on the wiki.

I've started keeping these links on my profile page. I guess I could just bookmark them, but hey - profile page = convenient and I never forget what folder I've stuck it in.

great, I'll just bookmark rtha's profile page and let her do all my dirty work.

Why do I read 'aggregated twitter/flickr pages' and my brain feeds me the name of 'twicker'?

Yeah, profile pages are handy for that sort of thing. You know, though, rtha, that if you've got Twitter listed as one of your social networks it'll display that link to all MeFi Twitters below your most recent twitter. Same for the Flickr (linked above) and Last.fm bits, too.

And for the upteenth time, why isn't Blogger in the list of social apps? You got your WPs and LiveJournals, why no Bloggy?

Wow, this is a great opportunity to visit other mefites' 43 things profiles and just mock the hell right out of them.

yanno, I think a link to carsonb's MeTa might be just the thing for my profile page.

Social Explorer sounds like something that might give you Social Diseases.

Adding mefites as friends on other networking sites makes me feel like the obnoxious and intrusive "friend" from that one area of your life who wants to be friends with you in all the other areas of your life despite your best attempts at subtly telling them that you don't really want to know them outside of that one area of your life, but you can't really yell at them cuz they're not doing anything wrong, they're just not taking the hint.

Nanopony: It'd be neat if socialexplorer pages listed the mefites' names on the other, lesser sites next to the links, so I could more easily scan down and see if I already know people by their other, lesser names.

If other-networking-sites George walks through this door, he will kill Metafilter George. A George divided against itself cannot stand!
