individual favourite posts rss-feed September 19, 2008 8:24 AM   Subscribe

Pony request: An individual favourite posts rss-feed?

would that be feasible, or too much traffic/processor load/work?

I think it would be a great feature for those of us who are on soup.io or tumblr - or just have a blog with the ability to import rss-feeds, like a wordpress widget - so we could feed our favourite posts to them.

To be clear, are you talking about having, for each user, an RSS feed mapped to the contents of the favorited-posts and favorited comments pages?

yes, sorry if I wasn't clear. For each user an rss feed of his favorited posts. I don't see the use of a feed of favorited comments though.

This would be fantastic. I've requested this before, but always just by trying to tack it onto other people's ponies.

For me, the main benefit would be having my favorite posts ported to Google Reader, where I could search for them later.

I would like an RSS of RSS feeds, so that each time a new one is added, I'll be immediately advised of it and can begin mostly ignoring it.

well, it seems that the interest in this feature is minimal. A shame, because I really think it would be useful.

I will add my voice to those who would enjoy seeing this. Google Reader is becoming personal content management system.
