Request: button to list threads with new responses. September 17, 2000 10:15 PM   Subscribe

I hopped on to MeFi just now to find 4 new threads and 38 new responses. Only 36 of them were on my front page, which means I'll never get to know where 37 and 38 are. And I have my prefs set to deliver 7 days' worth of posts. This is the first time I can remember this happening, so I'm finally pushed to ask: Any consideration of a "list threads with new responses" button, or somesuch?

less meta, more filter?

a button or preference to 'display only changed or new threads' would be great

Kewl, thanks!

It's not really about "less meta," as I wouldn't be ever using to specifically ignore new threads at the expense of old ones. This would just save me from 1) losing the ability to tell what posts are new at all when they're in threads that have already dropped off my front page, and 2) My OCD-like insistence at counting down the front page adding up all the (2 new), (13 new)s, etc, to make sure I'm not really missing anything.

I also like the idea (although I forget exactly where I saw it suggested. Somewhere else on MetaTalk, I think) of simply marking a specific thread to never drop out of the front page until it's demarked.
