Can't seem to see the moving yellow line as the song's playin'. Song plays and pauses fine but no progress bar.

huh, yeah, I can confirm it. I don't see the progress bar in Safari 4, Flash 10 either. I'm not sure where to begin debugging this one, but thanks for letting us know.

Have you tried taking hallucinogens? This may help.

Seven hours later and we've heard nothing. Hope his trip's alright.

Same issue on Opera.

Version: 9.64
Build: 10487
Platform: Win32
System: Windows XP

Flash player 10, but I'm not sure which build.

Man, I think choco's probably ok. Here, hold this squishy toy for a second, I gotta see what's inside the fridge that's makeing it breathe.

....Okay, let me try to actually answer the poor man here.

chococat, have you been playing music as part of a playlist? I noticed the same thing happened in that case. But pulling up the original music post with that single song on it, I could see the embedded progress bar in the embedded player.

I just chalked it up to playlists working differently.

Thanks Empress, but pb confirmed and addressed the problem (and his being stumped about it) upthread.
And while sometimes taking your children away for the weekend can feel like hallucinogens, none were ingested by me this past weekend. Thank you for your concern.

All is working again for me. If anyone else out there has the same problem with the progress bar or time remaining not showing up in JW Media Player for some browsers here is the fix: turn off gzip compression for mp3s.
