Pinneo said he’ll move quickly now on securing the necessary permits, which will involve weighing the house to determine how much steel is required to hold it up.

Can't they just ask Pixar how many balloons they used?

Thanks for posting; I missed this the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd times around.

It's also around the corner from Mikes Chili parlour, which the last Ballard meet up introduced me to (something I'd totally be up for repeating)

The best thing to come out of all this? The awesome Edith Macefield house "STEADFAST" tattoo.

The new design needs more balloons. Or is that selling out? If Edith was still with us, I wonder what she'd think of the movie, and that tattoo.

Was Edith Macefield real or just another Its Raining Florence Henderson's sock puppet?

Loan-Scam Operator Is Sentenced

SEATTLE - A Seattle-area entrepreneur who ran a real-estate loan scam has been sentenced to 13 months in prison and a $20,000 fine.

Gregory Pinneo, 38, was among four people sentenced Monday by U.S. District Judge William Dwyer in a so-called "no money down" real-estate-financing scheme.

Pinneo should level the house and put up a 12' chain link fence in front topped with concertina wire. Inside would be free weights, benches, and bleachers. Admission to this theme park simply called "The Yard" would be through a gate that includes a metal detector and pat-down search.

Certain long time patrons may occasionally enter with keistered toothbrushes sharpened and concealed "up the hoop". Storage lockers would be available, though this creates the opportunity for the dreaded padlock-in-a-sock, known as a "slock".

The downside of this plan is the inevitable racial segregation. It wouldn't be surprising to see a sign at the gate that reads: "No visitors today, all Norwegians on lock-down".

Prediction: The project to elevate the house will be quickly declared unfeasible due to cost and vague references to "structural instability," House is summarily raised. Pinneo sells land for a gagillion simoleans. PROFIT!

Pinneo: "Oh did we say we were going to raise it? Because we're going to raze it."

They should consider elevating Edith's grave so it'll be easier for her to roll in.
