Share your printable MeFi creations!

I figure some of us will be walking into big meetups and it might be nice to have familiar signage, stickers, t-shirts and whatnot. If you've made something (games, signs, postcards, iron-ons, GIFs) MeFitish, add a link here so people can find it and print their own in anticipation of the weekend's festivities.

I was thinking about this because of the MeFi Board Game but was also looking for a pdf of the MetaGram and other fun stuff.

I think I still have some metagram blanks laying around, I can scan them if we can't locate the original metagram location.
posted by iamabot at 10:41 AM on July 14, 2009

I have a copy of the metagram pdf, I just don't have anywhere to post it. It's not that big though, I could e-mail it to someone who could post it if someone doesn't already have it.

The MetaGram and some other cool stuff can be found in this thread.

I'll gladly host any MeFi- related files for public consumption for posterity, and link them up in the wiki. Just either email it to me (e-mail's in the profile), or link to it here.

The MetaGram is here, along with Be Safe and Smart on MetaFilter.

Yeah, the Metagram in the thread brain_drain linked is still up, so that ought to be sufficient for all Metagraming needs, I'd think.

Someday I'll learn to use the preview button.

I made [+] and [ ! ] buttons. These are sold at cost.

Those buttons are slick, mattdidthat.

I sent the order to the print shop before I realized that I misread the name of that PDF as "MegaGram". I hope there will be somewhere I can hang the banner.

I did this for the meetupening. It was fun! (Really, all you need are circular labels and a laser printer).

This isn't really useful for anyone else, but I made our daughter a MetaFilter onesie and "flag it" pacifier. Thanks for all the helpful ideas in the AskMe!

The Migs Signal might come in handy. You never know!

I love so much that you used puffy-paint on the pacifier, onlyconnect. My mom would be pleased.
posted by booknerd at 12:15 PM on July 14, 2009

At first I was all bummed because I'm also trying to make a board game, but it looks like I have a very different idea (you know, actually functioning as a game), and also it won't be printable because I'm doing it by hand (if I can figure out what art markers/paint markers match the hues, since I seem to be having trouble there).

I had held off on mentioning it because, like many of my ideas, it may be more ambitious than worthwhile.

elpapacito had made totally awesome admin masks, though I'm not sure where he pulled the photos from.

Jess linked to my screen cap of the old MeFi board game (thanks, Jess!) and in that same flickr set,, I put other stuff I've captured/collected from MetaFilter over the years - by no means a comprehensive list but certainly downloadable/printable for any who wish them.

Here's a PDF of the Flag It and Move On poster, as seen here. This poster is 20 x 30, 200ppi, and is set up to print as CMYK. The blue is 100/50/0/10.

Am I imagining things or at some point did someone do a Matthowie poster all propaganda style based on a Chairman Mao one? If so, a link here would be nice.

I saved a bunch of that stuff back in the day. Quite possible that it's on a backup hd. If no one else finds it, I'll look through my backups and email it to you.

Let the dice answer AskMe posts for you. 4 sided and 6 sided dice. I'd love to make a 10 sided dice, but I can't find my template.

On preview: woodblock, that's absolutely lovely.

What do people think about getting the attendees at the various respective meetup sites signing a big Congratulations! card and mailing it to the MetaFilter head office (where exactly would that be, anyway?) so that Matt could have a collection of well wishes from AROUND THE WORLD...

It's another task us 'organizers' could take on, right?

I did two--the first was Mathowie with a lightsaber, the second was Mathowie with Jessica Simpson and the General Lee. Unfortunately I can't find either of these in my archives so if someone has them archived or can find them on the internets, I'd be eternally grateful.

They're not fantastic, but it was handy yesterday at Austin's meetup: Simple table signs that ask the question "Are you here from the internet?", so you don't have to. Hope they come in handy for a late meetup today.
