PDX 10.5.1 was ...entertaining, especially after the tequila happened. I'll let someone else plan 10.6 (20 march, EastBurn?), but...
PDX 10.7. 24 April, at Enchanted Forest anyone?
After taking my other percentage* there for a birthday, the thought that kept popping up is "meetup. here. soon!".
I talked to anyone who would listen (including several who wouldn't) about making a field trip. Figure on $15-20 each with admission etc; we'd need to work out a caravan kind of thing since many of us don't drive.
Minor details, though; let's do this.
* I am much more than half a person.

I've noticed an odd regression regarding marshmallow handling with the 10.53rc4 alpha, which may slow the release of the next meetup.
But, in all seriousness, mefi road trip sounds like quite the adventure, if anyone can stand having me in their car.

Unfortunately the marshmallow tangent failed to deploy correctly until the Matador (tracking ID PDX 10.5.1.2), which is a bug which we hope to have resolved by 10.6.
Anecdotal research suggests reinstallment of tequila. This apparently fulfilled the required dependency in question. Unbiased testing along with full debug logs are required to confirm.

I approve of both these plans, and tentatively commit to them. If 10.6 is at someone's house we could bring games and try the gaming thing again. Or just drink and burn stuff. Either way is cool with me.

Oh, son of a -- I missed 'mallows at the Matador (not to mention tequila)?? Dependency on public transit stinks (and I still ended up buying a cab home)! Okay, I'm up for both Lutoslawski's back yard and a ROAD TRIIIIP! I will (as should be evident by this point) need a ride. I'll even share a back seat with idiopath...as long as he doesn't touch my side.

me too. i'm not sure about the Wednesday thing for most of us, but as far as I'm concerned it'll be whenever she and the rest of the guests want it to be.
Or we could also just make that Wednesday 10.6.1 or something.

Like I just said in the other thread, I support 10.6 on the 26th, wherever it's held.
And that Mercury article got me all excited about Enchanted Forest, though, like my fellow Carless Wonders in the thread, I'd need a ride. I even promise to not constantly ask "Are we there yet?".
I'll only ask once every ten minutes, I swear.

ENCHANTED FOREST YES. I am in, and I can drive 3-4 people in my car (one will probably be JaiMahodara). The mushrooms are optional, but encouraged. RABBIT HEADS!
