Was there once a FPP in the blue where the only text on the front page was "e" and which linked to something about the mathematical constant?
(i.e. the unique real number such that the value of the derivative of the function f(x) = ex at the point x = 0 is equal to 1)
Over the past couple of years I've tried to find it a few times, without success.

Well, there's this. Maybe why you couldn't find it?

I guess it was posted by Georges Perec in a moment of desperation.

I've always thought they should have called it "schwuh."

words without any "e".
Try it. It's not as hard as you would think.

But it's limiting.

537. Homarus gammarus and his compatriots approach a gargantuan rock cautiously. Upon it is a curious thing: a pair of short brown pants, comprising animal skin, with straps to hold it up; it is a bit dirty. Its stain is not random, though. It forms a mystifying symbol, which was until now unknown: a partial orb, with a chord linking a boundary point to a point horizontally across from it. What could this occult glyph signify?

I once made a post with nothing but "e" as the title but after having typed the first 1,000,000 digits I had to take a nap and my pc rebooted to install a windows patch and then I lost interest.

No limits, no art? I thought it was "In limitation only is a mast—"
Oh.
