This question seems to have gone under the radar. Shouldn't it be in Projects?

Asking for money doesn't even fly in there. One of my projects wasn't even about the asking for money part and it didn't fly. Not that I'm bitter by any means, just saying it because I have personal experience on this front.

When considered with a gracious eye, it looks like the question just isn't completely clear. It's asking for ideas for goofy things to do when they meet various fundraising goals. They aren't asking for donations per se. Not that linking to the donation URL helps much.

Yeah, I read it as asking for forfeit ideas, not asking for money. The link should be moved inside the asker's profile though.

Yah. It's asking for suggestions on what the poster and pals can do when certain fund raising goals are met. Remove the link, all's good.

I removed it and would have removed it for being not right for Ask MeFi but the original poster did also ask us to remove it about an hour before this MetaTalk post went up.

Yeah, I didn't realize the link was to a donation page and not just a "here's more context for the project" page (which is how I read their intent with linking to it).
