I didn't post this on the front page because the original post was just a little over a year ago. I thought it would get deleted as a double. Sorry for the mistake. I thought MeTa was the place to post follow-ups to old posts that didn't have sufficient new content to warrant something on MeFi.

Within the last year or so the feeling is that if a post doesn't merit a post on the blue then don't make it, but that meta isn't really meant as a secondary option.

I'm not sure I agree with this, but I do understand why this is the case.

I'd say you should post it again, since it may not be new links, but it is for sure new content.

I thought MeTa was the place to post follow-ups to old posts that didn't have sufficient new content to warrant something on MeFi.

It used to be but the mods have made it clear in recent months they'd prefer not to fill MeTa with non-Mefi-related followups to old posts.
