successful posting of contentious material June 21, 2002 12:33 PM Subscribe
Today's PreCrime post by grrarrgh00 is a great example of contentious material presented with balanced text, varied supporting links (with mouseovers!), and a meaty comment to start things on the write foot. Is this a good model given our recent debates over how to present controversial topics?

Marquis, please remember in the future, "etiquette/policy" posts should only be complaints. Well thought out compliments have no place here, or anywhere else on the web for that matter.

A cheap post, clever from the perspective of a 9th Grader. It's so much fun to trash the people in power!
