- Check sidebars
- One will list "Most Favorited Tracks from your contacts"
- Some of these songs won't be Jingle Rock Bell (but luckily some will)
- Punch 'Em In The Dick!
- (Er, by which I mean "please comment, favourite or just enjoy listening to the best of MeFi Music")

This is a good/bad post and I should feel good/bad (mods plz delete as appropriate).
I think the last time anything on that list changed for me was around seven years ago.
As music charts go, they are calibrated on an unusually long time scale.

Hrm! Maybe an answer to static results is periodic swingeing contacts purges paired with adding utterly arbitrary new contacts. Granted, it's a terrible, terrible answer!

Being serious briefly, I'd ride that pony. That was what I liked about the sidebar, it popped up some things I hadn't heard and might be interested in. I hadn't really considered Wolfdog's point above about a tendency of results to converge or atrophy.

I just have a quick minute for this, but I've told about everyone I know about A Man of Very Few Words and this version of Fame, unforgettably described as "...like Kurt Cobain and Matthew Sweet fucking while Billy Corgan watches". Suffice to say, you won't be thinking about fresh-faced, dancing teenagers.

I had to crawl to Arizona by Flapjax at Midnite - will go on record to say this is the best use of squeezy dolphins on any musical track anywhere on the internet, your argument etc.
Kiss, cover by grumpybear69 - there are a bazillion Prince covers doing the rounds since His Almighty Purpleness passed away, you don't need any of them, you just need this one.
I could seriously go on and on. But this is a start. People you need these in your life.
