comfort reads compilation March 27, 2020 11:17 AM   Subscribe

hi all, ask usually gets a question about comfort or easy reads every month or so. Has anyone done any compilations? ... and if not, who has an opinion on the best way for me to make one?

I'm considering Goodreads and a google spreadsheet. I do have a librarything account, but I think it's viewed as a little off the beaten path for a lot of readers. It's aimed more at the data side of books than the social side.

Any opinions I am glad to hear. Or, if this has already been done and I've just missed it, well, please do link me up!

There is the MeFi Wiki ReadMe page, which is an extensive compilation of book-related AskMes.

As the asker of one of these questions, I would love this. Could I help?

A goodreads list is a great idea. There probably are such lists already, but everyone is going to have a different flavour of comfort in mind, right?

Please send me a DM if you do start such a list.

hey everyone, thanks for your feedback! I decided to use goodreads account. I'll also be handling this in a few phases: compiling data into a spreadsheet, dividing up the recommendations into sensible categories/"shelves," and then adding it all into goodreads. If this sounds like something you might enjoy helping with, feel free to message me so I can get you links and instructions! Organizing can be very soothing. :)

@ katra -- thank you for the link!
