I only bring my smallest, pettiest, stupidest, hardest complaints to askme and someone always finds a way to help me one way or another, those were my favorite AskMe's of 2021 so thanks to everyone for that.

These are great! Thanks for posting.
A couple of Asks I loved this year that didn't get on the list are I need more laughs for my armor and we like to have a party for our kids now and then.

One of these I read yesterday, think the pandemic upgrades one, convinced me to finally buy an air fryer!

Balthamos: I feel like I won an AskMe Oscar.

An Askar, surely?
Or maybe an OscMe? No, definitely an Askar.

*swoon* I made it! I made it! </Sally_Field>

(TBH, I had expected more responses to my question, but regardless I hope it was useful to future readers!)

What would the Metafilter EGOT be?

FTAMPJIM (Fanfare, MetaTalk, Ask, Metafilter, Projects, Jobs, IRL, Music)?

I am embarrassingly humbled that people are so delighted to discover that this random guy liked their questions!

No you're the best, I insist!

This kind of excitement about being recognized is a good reflection of the stakes felt by many people when they consider making an FPP.

I am delighted that other people are delighted to find that someone, somewhere has affirmed their words. I'm the poster of the under-loved comments thread, right next door, and...and I just want to see it turn into something good. I want MeFites to see their own names mentioned and feel a little jolt of happiness. I hope favorites get issued with abandon. Because why not? What's the downside? So many of us are having a hard time--and these favorite post/comment threads are a great way to remind one another that we appreciate people's efforts to connect.

MonkeyToes, I notice that you're a person who goes out of their way to lift other people up here, and to be good, and sometimes to remind people they can do better.

You're awesome.

Whelp, I've been called out before for making too many AskMe posts, and now I have 3 questions in this list!
This proves something, don't know what.
