I can no longer Post to Metafilter in IE5.1 or Mozilla (Mac 9.2). But I can here. Why?

It's a new feature: ParisFilterTM, v1.0.

Seriously, Mefi seems to be a Mac/IE5 hater:

Here and here and here are some other threads mentioning odd IE5 for Mac behaviors.

I think Mac IE5 has lots of issues... I know that whenever I've made anything in Flash, Mac IE before OSX won't show it correctly; it gets chopped up and distorted. I think it's basically just a bad version of the software.

Yeah, maybe I phrased that badly. It probably should have read "IE5 for Mac is a Mefi hater".

I can't get to Metafilter in Mozilla, either, at least as of about two hours ago. Well, some of you now have your wish. Yay.

Actually, it was a cookie problem. Would anyone like to field another question: I wanted to delete the mefi cookie from IE, but the cookies are no longer found under preferences: WHERE DID THEY GO?
