I just updated Surfari and Mefi has gone all big on me. The first beta meant adjusting to a smaller font for Mefi when compared to IE; now the two are identical in appearance. I miss that slimming look but a change to my user settings on Mefi has no effect nor does a change to Safari's preferences. Should I just move my chair back?
How many browsers are there now? Like, a thousand? And they all seem to show pages differently. I say a line must be drawn.

I draw the line between there being a space after a browser's version number, and there being a "b" there.

Sweet! That means that it really worked and they fixed the bug I found.

aw crap, correction, it's only partially fixed. The default-sized ticketstubs.org is still unreadable.

It's cool, Hildago. I'm not asking for anything. Just wanted to have a) an understanding (expecting the change to match IE was actually a correction) and b) wondering why I can not control the default size through the custom settings.
I bring it up because Mr. Owie cares.

Funny... I just changed my options on the "Customize" page, and voilá, smaller type.
Mac OS 10.2.3 and the new Safari beta.
Go figure.

I had heard that the next public beta release of Safari would change from 72 dpi to 96 dpi.
But Safari no longer does that DHTML title attribute thang; it was working on the earlier (v51) build, but the new (v60) build sticks the title tags in the status bar. It does this with all title tags (for example, on my own site), and seems to override what Matt is doing.

JP, I just tried again and had success this time. Abandoning Verdana maybe did the trick? I don't know but thanks for making me check again. All is well.
Nothing more to see here. Move along now.

that is odd, mcwetboy... it never did the DHTML tags for me, in v51 or v60....
