Would it be a self-link if I mentioned that it's that time again? I hope not -- MeFi Swap is all about you! And signups for '03/Q2 are now open.

Wow! Illegal file swapping fun! I'll swap with everyone appart from that new RIAA character who's been posting recently... ;)

So are we talking cda or mp3 or what?

twine42 -- ixnay on the legalilay alktay! We don't go there. ;)

It's cda only. No mp3s, weird video codecs or whatever else. You can read all of the guidelines (very basic stuff) at the site.

Signups will be open through June 5. Also, swappers from last quarter are strongly encouraged to complete the feedback survey about the results of that swap.

Thanks to everyone who has made this project so much fun and so successful for the last year!

Hmmm... a CD with only 70 minutes of music on it? Why would anyone want such a thing?

Just think - if record labels only put 70 minutes of music on a CD it would be worth virtually nothing!

Ahem. Sorry. Sounds interesting, but I doubt I could find just one CD's worth of interesting stuff...

Twine, why don't you pick a pile of tracks, have an amusing couple of hours arranging them in order of "most brilliantly interesting" to "mildly interesting", then dump them from best to worst onto a CD until it's full? Surely there must be a way around your indecision? Get involved, twine, it's great fun - you're forgetting about the 5x70 minutes of interesting music you'll recieve in return!

How would that work for those without wives? I am not sure if you would get complaints from those that sent theirs out and never got one back, or the reverse.

On review, i may have only received four Cds last time, can't seem to locate the fifth presently. Still top value!
