When I woke up this morning and clicked my Home button, I was shocked be taken to http://lolitasexvideo.com - I Thought maybe I clicked a link. So I clicked the home button again. It took me there again. So I thought maybe my wife is playing a trick on me. I typed metafilter in the address bar. It still took me there. I'm hoping that Matt knows about this. It doesn't seem to be the kind of thing that Matt would do to entertain us, and keep us coming back. I'm just glad I can get my linky goodness for this morning.

Maybe it has something to do with the DNS issues lately? That's weird.

Think you have problems? My old business site, www.eroxgraphix.com (which I let go a few months ago) was auctioned off, and is now a porno site!

Ironically, one of the reasons I let the domain go, was that everyone thought Erox Graphix was a porno site when they saw the domain name.... heh heh.

That's not ironic.

Between this and the pinging session, I'm beginning to wonder if MeFi has offically made it to the "targets" list; ie, hack for supposed cred.

Or was it some malicious Javascript in one of the posts? Anyway I didn't see it.

If it was just a matter of your "home" page being reset, it probably has nothing to do w/ mefi.

Tux, this happened to me a couple of weeks ago. It occurred after my wife checked her hotmail from my machine. I think she opened a .vbs attachment, but I'm not sure. Norton AV didn't pick it up. The only thing I noticed was the homepage reset. Hopefully that's all it did.
