Anyone else getting their new link/comment counter reset to zero on the first (main page) reload?

Anyone else getting their new link/comment counter reset to zero on the first (main page) reload? Since yesterday or so, any time I click through to a thread and then go back to the front, every thread is reporting all comments as read. Seems to be happening on the grey and green too.

i've had that too..i thought no one had posted any comments until i checked.

I seem to recall Matt mentioning there being some sort of timeout involved, of five minutes or so. So if you duck into a thread and come back to the front page before the timeout, all post counts are the same, but if you read one of those 50+ comment monster debates and come back, you'll only see comments posted since you started reading that thread as new.

arto: Yes and at least once when Matt posted that information it was in response to a comment of mine. This is different, unless he's reset the timeout value to 15 seconds.
