Love the powered-by bar on the front page. April 20, 2001 10:06 AM   Subscribe

That new "powered-by" bar is c00l! but it overlaps with the sideblog (on pages that are shorter than the sideblog).

I too think it's really neat.

Heh. And if you don't know what he's referring to, return to the front page and scroll alllllll the way down. Subtle.

Yeah. That rules.

I think we're about to find out how many MeFi addicts scroll all. The. Way. Down.

I love Gratuitous Cool Shit. You know you should ask for money for that Coke link, right, Matt?

That caffeine link shouldn't be coca-cola, it should be Jolt, goshdarnit.

I actually prefer pepsi, though I'm drinking coke at work a lot (it's free). I couldn't get the "swirly pepsi ball" logo to look good at ~16px square, so I went the more recognizable coke swooshy thing.

the passion thing was hard to come up with a link for, but the soul of the web project is a good one that goes with it pretty well.

maybe the caffeine link can be changed to Juan Valdez at http://www.juanvaldez.com/

Hey, doesn't that Coke v. Pepsi debate belong on Metafilter? ;-)

The coke swooshy thing, or "Dynamic Ribbon Device", is patented by Coke, and they can sue you Matt for using it.

Just thunk you should know.

Trademarked, actually. But you know, since he's linking to Coke, I doubt they could do it. A small rendition of the chemical formula for caffeine, or something, might be less legally risky though...
