First Ever Meetup Request

Hi, just curious if anyone is interested in having a metafilter user get together... kind of like what Cam of Camworld.com did... Post your interest here... Since metafilter is based in LA and so am I, I am assuming it would be in the LA area...

You know what? I might not be in LA much longer, so maybe we could meet up at a bar in a couple weeks? I don't get a chance to go out that much in LA, and maybe that'd be a fun way to meet some of you.

How about it? Foopmaster? CUJoe? efader? Anyone else?

I'm at SXSW from this Friday until the following Wednesday, so maybe after that would be a good time?

im always down to get together, though i lack transportation and an id to get into bars so im more of a burdon.
