Redesign contest status update please March 8, 2005 4:38 PM   Subscribe

I am hesitant to post this because I just know someone will point me to one of mathowie's comments within a minute, but what's the status of the redesign for MeFi and its related pages? Searches for updates only brought me to the MeTa thread about the contest entries, and that was over a month ago. No pressure on Matt to hurry, just curious about how it's coming along since I am very excited for the new look.

It took me a bit to find it, but here's his tada list, if that helps.

I plan to launch the projects site with the new design, both of which are almost completely done, I just need to chop one thing into a template for the other.

And thanks to rooftop secrets for posting the question that many of us did not have the nerve/thick skin/masochism to ask. And thanks in advance to mathowie for all the cool stuff Coming Soon to a MetaFilter Near You.

So now you plan to build a jobsfilter? Where was this three months ago when I needed a job to stop the bank taking my house?

But seriously, now that I have got used to the way changes seem to have escalated here since all these new kids were let in, I am really looking forward to seeing a visual freshen-up of MeFi - something that I would have been vigorously opposed to when we were cruising along comfortably and keeping everyone we didn't know out in the cold.
