I've been getting this error message for months, across multiple platforms (Windows, Mac, iPad, iPhone) but today it's reached a peak. I've been refreshing the "Recent Activity on My Favorites" page over the last nine hours and haven't yet been able to get it to load. [more inside]

You may have noticed over the past few days (approximately since the 25th) that adding new shows or movies to Fanfare has come up with nothing but errors. This should now be fixed, but other errors are possible. [more inside]

Quick heads up since a number of folks have noted/asked about this: yes, the search function for logged-out readers is currently not working. It throws up a complaint that is unhelpful but also not dangerous: "Unauthorized access to internal API. Please refer to...". We'll have it fixed soon, but just a heads up that (a) it is indeed a thing and (b) it's not something to worry about. Sorry about the annoyance!

Maybe this is a known problem but I just stumbled across it. I was on this page https://ask.metafilter.com/travel-transportation/hong-kong and tried to favorite the first result by clicking the little plus symbol (+). Nothing happens. I was able to favorite it by going into the post and clicking there. Firefox 56 (ha) on Ubuntu Linux, accepting cookies. Can someone confirm? You can unfavorite if it works.

When I click the jump to end of thread on any page it turns green and doesn't do anything. Also the jump to comments on the popular post page. [more inside]
