Are you married to someone Ask MetaFilter told you to dump?

There is a lot of DTMFA in Ask posts. Often, there's a lot of DTMFA in response to questions which involve a romantic relationship, but where the question is of the form "Who's right?" or "Where should we live?" or "Should we buy or rent?" but not "Should I D this MF?" I was just wondering: are there a lot of members who are now in marriages or other more-or-less permanent relationships with partners who've been the subject of dump-urging pileons in Ask? Or did all of you actually D the MFs as instructed?

DTMFA

I posted anonymously to ask me and the advice and help offered, though some of it was very harsh, strengthened me to get out of a bad relationship. I read through the post over and over again when I start to weaken and it empowers me to stay strong. Your advice agreed with the advice of all my real world friends, but they were getting tired of reiterating it. Having the thread to re-read is powerful support. Thank you everybody! I'm in a safer, healthier place today than I would be without the support of many strangers on the internet.

Has there ever been a relationship thread that didn't overwhelmingly swing "DTMFA?"

Has there ever been a relationships thread on Ask Metafilter where the overwhelming response from the crowd WASN'T to DTMFA? [more inside]

Divorce too often recommended as solution

This sort of thing irks the hell out of me. When I asked for advice on getting my picky wife to eat well while pregnant, I also got advice like this ("my question in your circumstances would be about divorce lawyers"). I've seen a number of others like this too over the last year(s), advocating divorce or 'dumping' for any sort of relationship issue. Can we get a smackdown on these idiotic AskMe answers?
