When does a FPP deserve a follow up thread and where should one post it? (more inside)
The porn thread's still open, so the followup should go there.
Personally I wouldn't post just the obituary. Maybe supplement it with a link to the original thread (which you've got) and an appreciation or two so people get a better idea of who he was.

Joey: You're asking about where followups for the blue belong. That thread was regarding followups for the green. Distinct questions, with the same short-term answer and probably the same ideal solution. And no, I don't know what the ideal solution would be.

Plutor: Apparently, I need to read the the thread that I belatedly search for a little more carefully. I agree, though, that the basic idea in that thead was probably a good short-term solution.

On the other hand, it seems like an odd thing to post on MetaTalk - though I note that this has been done with increasing frequency lately. So, where should follow ups end up?
