Help Me Find Nuclear War Thread

I remember sometime ago there was a thread about an article speculating what would actually happen in a full nuclear war at the height of nuclear proliferation. I'm having trouble searching for it because of the bulk of threads devoted to the topic of nukes. Do you remember it?

Close, but no cigar. This article was really lengthy, and included a timeline of sorts, along with sources, I think. Thanks anyway!

If it helps, I remember that it started in East/West Germany, much like the tv movie the Day After. Now that I recall, it may not have been an FPP but a link in a thread.
