San Francisco Meetup

I won't be able to attend the Portland meetup because on 6/3 I'll be leaving for San Francisco where I'll be until 6/10. If anyone would like to do a meetup on that week, let's discuss.

i'd go to zeitgesit on a friday after work, but on a thursday I don't even get to Alameda until 8ish, so i sure as heck ain't getting on no dang ol bart out to the city.

of course, it's unlikely i'm going to show anyways, so i wouldn't want anyone to switch out of the thursday date for me.

fishfucker: I lied, it's actually Berkeley, on Durant. Near Shattuck. I wasn't in charge of this.

But it's near the downtown berkeley BART, so my offer of getting (mildly, work-safe) tanked still stands.

I'm also confused. We just did a meet-up in Oakland; cmonkey, are you willing to come into SF? Or are we just ignoring the East Bay drinking requests here?

Zeitgeist is at Valencia and Duboce, closest BART is 16th and Mission. Drinking would be outdoors, so bring jackets and sweaters. /mom voice

Is this a go?

Maybe earlier? They have food (burgers and such), and people will probably show up late. I'd say 7pm, 8 at the latest.

Do you want to repost to the front page now that it's set? Right now, this thread kinda looks like a Portland meet-up.

Oooh, if it were really early, I could come. Otherwise, I'd be up for some East Bay thing the following week. Or downtown? Would the following Thursday be enough of a break to pick up a couple of you SF folks that are going to Zeitgeist?
