The outcome of the VA senate race won't be known for weeks, it seems, but it seems clear that the Webb will win the initial count, which is what I'll go with.

to be honest i think it's early yet to be calling the races in MT/VA decided, so if there turn out to be any last-minute vote recount shenanigans, i'm happy to defer to whatever the final outcome turns out to be.
