Thing is, I have a vested interest in Tpwdf: continuing to lurk and choose favorites. He/she chose one of mine to be part of the the 19 you remarked on, and I will defend to the death (or at least to the seriously verbally redressed) that person's right to continue to mark my comments as their favorites.
[On reading this post, my first guess was that it was a sock puppet, but in thinking about it, my best estimate puts it as a long time lurker who finally bought an account and is nervous about posting. Which if true, I would encourage him/her to look at my posting history: it took me years to 'come out of my shell'. People on Mefi can be bitchy and snarky and rude. But most of the time it's polite and reasonable discourse. I know Matt says the site is about the links, but I have always disagreed with that. The links are great, but I come here for the conversation. So, Tpwdf:, if you are lurking out there, don't be afraid to speak up.]
