Teeny-tiny pony request: Adding favorites is all ajax-y and lovely. Removing favorites - from your favorites page - causes a refresh and a bump up to the top of the page. I can has ajax pls?

Yeah, that's on the to-do pile.

More pony: can the old myposts.mefi and mycomments.mefi pages be redirected to the new activity pages?

Just out of curiosity since we're on the subject of ponies, how come I don't see the Travel link any more?

This posturing oh-so-hip denigration of the fixation with the score that has cropped up recently is such boring wankery.

quonsar needs a good punch in the nuts.

NO MEDIOCRE NUTPUNCHES FOR QUONSAR

Is there a special name for a herd of ponies?
posted by desjardins at 3:39 PM on August 28, 2007 [1 favorite]

I've always thought of them as mediocre nutpunches, desjardins, but it's probably just me.

We should have a thread about favorites every day, just to see if we can get Tennyson D'San to explode.

Also.

You'll notice something else odd about the footer—there remains a link to the My Comments page. My Comments preceded the current family of Activity Tracking Pages (Recent Activity replaced it for most intents and purposes) and is still the preferred method of tracking site activity for some luddites. I think that's why there's no RA and plenty of MC in the footer.

Y'see Jeb, the trick to pony-herding is to punch the old stallion in the nuts from time to time. Rest of 'em see that, they don't give you no trouble.
Did I ever tell you that story of the time I wrastled a Jrun up on MeTa Ridge?

You can take away the favorite count if you give us favorite RSS feeds.

Like this page:

It's a pretty perfect use for RSS, since you only care when it updates.

removing favorites from the favorites page is now ajax-y, let us know if you have any problems with it.

Yeah, the ajaxy removals are nice.

One (minor) bug though: sometimes it leaves the title behind even when the entire item it was a title to has been removed (refreshing the page makes it go away, so that's okay).
