Contact List Formatting November 7, 2007 6:44 AM   Subscribe

A quick formatting request for the contacts lists: "links to" and "linked by" as vertical lists side by side rather than as blocks of inline text. Also, a little icon to indicate mutual contacts, and a little plus sign to add new non-mutual contacts from the "linked by" list. I have the del.icio.us contacts list in mind.

I second this.

Thirded. If it would make some users' contact pages too long, commas separating the contacts would suffice, I think.

Every time the contacts lists page is reformatted, baby Jesus Plutor cries.

Fourth. Even if no one ever links to me without me linking to them first...

Nice idea. Perhaps it just shows 10 (or 20 or 30) random contacts "and XXX more" which would be a link to a full page side by side list (or would ajaxily expand the short list).

"ajaxily" would be a kickass Scabble word.

Not a bad idea. We have a full plate of other stuff going on, but we can revisit it in a bit.
