It's podcast call-in time again. Leave your messages and questions at [phone]. We'll be recording the show on Wednesday.

Now that mathowie and I seem to have a decent schedule and recording scheme set up, we're trying to get back to the old best-of-web/call-in/interview cycle, so give us a call. Looking forward to hearing all your lovely voices.

A few small print caveats. If you've already called in, you may want to give someone else a chance. Since this is asynchronous, we can't rely on our interlocutory skills to get you to wrap it up, so try to be brief. The call-in shows can be LONG so we may edit for length and/or not play all comments/questions. Also, the call-in show isn't really a good place for gripes or WTFishness, that sort of thing still works better here in MeTa or email.

I know I asked you guys about the recording set-up before, but I was wondering if you could be a little more in-depth. Obviously it's VOIP, but how do you set things up so that it only records your respective halves of the convo? And what specifically do you guys use? It'd probably make it a lot easier for folks to participate in the MeMu Podcast's 'How I Make Music' thing.

Oh wicked! I just listened to the podcast for the first time last week and I found it eminently entertaining. I was also surprised to hear I got a shoutout for recommending the caboose hotel in Nova Scotia. (Glad you had fun!)

Tell me about it--I could barely hold on to the receiver, my hand was shaking so much. I don't know how the hell I might've sounded, or if you could even understand what I was saying... but I'm glad I called in, if for nothing else than to hear Jessamyn's voice:)

Um, wasn't it you and Matt on the answering machine? I'm sure I heard Matt's voice first, and then yours if I'm not mistaken... I was so nervous I could be mistaken though, listening to both of you talk on the podcasts, and thinking that you may have also been on the Answering Machine, but I could've sworn I heard you... did I???

^You know what would be really, really scary: if, upon listening to the podcast, mathowie's voice came out sounding like yours, and then your original call was played, and it was mathowie's voice, screaming "Let me out! Let me out! Let me out!" And then jessamyn and you (mathowie?) both start cackling maniacally.
