Under the flickering torchlight, I saw my quarry: the golden contacts reflecting as they lay against a papyrus scroll from the Library at Alexandria, the dust having not yet covered it completely. "Eureka!" I cried. "All is not lost!" My perilous quest through dust monsters and over yawning chasms and fighting through moldy skeletons had not been in vain. I had reacquired the

original SD card from the October '09 Chicago Meetup that I had thought I lost. (The scroll possibly might not have been from the Library at Alexandria, but possibly a site survey of the library at Alexandria, IN, but I digress...)

It had bothered me for a while that the "Last Round" was missing one of the instigators. I could not believe that I had, shooting as many frames as I did blind, consistently erred in one direction. As it turned out, I hadn't. On the original SD card I found a raw file that had the left end of the tableau cut off- so now, through the miracle of Photomerge, I can now give you the complete version:

1. The original
2. The new
3. Large

My apologies to East Manitoba Regional Junior Kabaddi Champion '94 for not catching this earlier. I really did feel bad about missing this for all this time.

I now count 13 disciples, but that's a different plate of beans.

You've apparently missed #14, Simian the Righteous.

The fat Jesus balances out the two thin ones.

There's a distinct lack of a dark hued Jesus, would it have killed one of you to put on some black face? Yeah, probably.

When Jesus broke the bread he said, "Take this and eat it, for it is my body", he did not say, "LOL Butts."

And lo, seeing that the bread had been evenly distributed, then did Jesus cut the cheese.

From a cannibalistic perspective, Jesus probably would have been tasty, what with all that walking. Though maybe a bit of fat would be nice, for flavor.

Okay, so NOW do we finally get to crucify cortex?

When I was in Alexandria a couple months ago the library was closed.
True story.

I am so fucking pissed I missed that meetup, even though there clearly would have been no place for me in the picture. Though I do believe that the 15th disciple ALSO got way too tanked on Purple People Eaters the night before, so hooray for historical accuracy.

It's so cool that you folks imitated that great LOST Season 6 promo picture!!!

No, I'm pretty sure they're spoofing the Battlestar Galactica promo picture. LOST copied BSG. So unoriginal!
