Find me AskMes about gently and efficiently getting kids out of the next, please November 30, 2012 12:05 PM   Subscribe

I promise that I Googled and searched with the on-site engine, but I just can't find things I know for sure are there - namely, AskMe questions about getting young adult children to gain independence.

I mean questions like this one, where a young adult (early to mid 20s) is still living at home, or maybe living in a cheap apartment but not going anywhere, and a sibling, parent, or other concerned person is asking for help.

I'm trying to give a list of resources specifically relating to motivating a young adult to a friend, and I'm sure there are a lot more AskMe questions than I've found looking for words such as "independent" and "child" and "son" and "daughter." I swear I've seen way more than one between June and today, in other words.

I'm guessing that it's probably wrong to suggest that we skin and eat them?

Too fatty. Unhealthy. They need to be put into labour camps. Firm 'em up a bit first.
