Hello. This is for you.
You might not know it but I was mentioned on Metafilter Podcast #73. If you didn't hear it, you should listen. What you should know is that I was mentioned on that episode, and well, I've never been mentioned before, never by nobody. You ask, what was I a little someone like me mentioned for? You might not remember this but I wrote a comment that was a little manic, a little amusing, it was a ramble-ramble-off-the-coat-cuff Mario history. You might be able to find it if you dig. Some people liked it, and apparently Jessamyn did to. But, what I mean to say is not that I am under-appreciated, no one likes what I do, and my eclectic comments oft get deleted for no explicable reason, but instead, no, I feel appreciated. It is a warm feeling. I was mentioned on the Metafilter Podcast; it is our most official Podcast and that is special. And, and especially because of that I want to say "thank you for that," and after I say that I'm going to to be bashful, blush a little, I'll worry you might not understand, so I'll reiterate myself. That is what I want to do, and for you, that is what I will do.
So, thank you for that.
Thank you.

Why are we whispering? Is it because this thread was closed and got reopened and any minute now cortex, the favorite lich, will realize it should be closed and close it. I did not even know you could reopen after a thing was closed. We are learning a lot. Why again are we whispering?

Surely hedgehogs live in some sort of burrow rather than a room....
Hmmmm. The San Diego Zoo says:
Hedgehogs live on the ground, never in trees. They like to live alone and may be territorial. Some hedgehogs dig burrows in the soil up to 20 inches (50 centimeters) deep; others prefer to make nests with dead leaves, grasses, and branches. Desert hedgehogs Paraechinus sp. even hide between boulders or burrows into the sand to escape the desert heat. In Asia, long-eared hedgehogs Hemiechinus auritus have been known to move into burrows left by turtles, foxes, gerbils, and otters. So, yes, no rooms for hedgehogs. They like to live alone!

Badgers are really cool because they dig burrows and sometimes they let other animals share their burrows for awhile, though sometimes they kick unwanted visitors out. That's pretty neat and I don't understand why some dudes in the UK want to kill them all.
In conclusion badgers are a land of contrasts.
