Continued by a very long blockquote that is a big yellow link to an article that is only three paragraphs long. Or, better yet, a quote taken completely out of context that happens to support......the rhetorical and usually trollish question that follows. Don't posts like that suck? Isn't it time we did away with the lefties/righties/Republicans/Dems/etc by setting them on fire?

All are harmless, all are part of MetaFilter's charm. and it's true that pet peeves say more about the peeved than they do about the peevee. Still...
