This is the best and only possible music video for this song. It is perfect.

It's like Rock, Paper, Scissors, except that everybody loses on every combination.

As soon as I saw this I ran into the dining room and played it for my husband. "Fucking Metafilter", he says, "those guys are awesome."

HOLIDAY TRADITION UPGRADE.

Oh hey, just saw this post. I added the "MusicOnly" tag and here's that transcript link for convenience (it's also linked to in the project's comments).

I actually only watched this without the sound on and thought briefly about deaf accessibility and I thought it held up, but it was late at night, and now I realize that I had the context of having already heard the jingles.

Oh, and if you can't see the video, it's three photos, timed to match when they're sung in the song:

- a photo of a single bell with handle,
- a photo of a rock, and
- a photo of some bells (like cat bells, but on a red ribbon if I recollect correctly)

This is fab! I've linked to this many times whenever someone asks on FB what's everyone's favorite Christmas song. Now can say it comes with exciting action video!

This is great and now I have Jingle Rock Bell stuck in my head for the rest of the day.

This would seem the appropriate forum for calling attention to this particular Music playlist:

I Hate Christmas Music, But This Is Good Enough To Listen To And Not Make Me Want To Stab Myself Through Both Eardrums in One Shot

Along with Jingle Rock Bell, the Ukrainian Crab Carol would make a nice surprise addition to the family playlist.

"Noonish on Christmas Eve" wherein I briefly lose it at "jinglejinglejingle" and regain myself only to lose it again at the operatic section.

I am strangely filled with Christmas spirit.

Also, possibly, spirits.

Missed opportunity for a picture of a jock. Also a pringle. Otherwise perfect.

I considered the jock, and decided I'd rather not explain what it was to my five-year-old right now. (Although her main reaction to the video was "boring" - she claims to like the song, though.)

And I didn't know what to use for "ringle" other than an animated question mark. The Pringle idea didn't occur to me.

Maybe the jock can show up in an un-rated director's cut sometime down the road.

I'd have been tempted by this. (It's about as close as "Pringle" is...)

...though, wait, apparently it's a thing! Merriam-Webster's Unabridged:
ringle, plural -s

1 dialectal, England: a metal ring; especially: one placed in an animal's nose

2 obsolete: circle
So I guess something like this.

The floor and walls between my apartment and my upstairs neighbors' are fairly thin, and while I was playing the video while doing holiday cooking, my neighbor texted me and says, "Jingle Bell Rock?" and I replied, "Nope. Jingle Rock Bell," and linked the video.

She texted me back 'irl lollllll' (she's 22) so I think that means she enjoyed it.

The original, because I didn't notice a link to it elsewhere in this thread (it could be there; I'm tired).
