Why was my thread on the Greek govt outlawing games deleted? September 4, 2002 9:43 AM   Subscribe

Um...I posted a link a little while ago and now the thread is gone. Did I double-post or something bad and didn't know it? It was about the Greek government outlawing electronic games...

Yup. It was posted on Sunday and, depending on your personal settings, may still be on MeFi's front page. No worries, happens to all of us.

you know, no offense, every time we post a new MetaTalk thread, we kick another out of the MetaTalk front page

If every member who gets a deleted FPP takes it to Meta, it'll become MetaDoublePost

it's OK to check sloppily and post a double, it happens. When a FPP gets deleted, first thing the author should do, is check for doubles

Why should he be bothered to do it after he gets nuked if it was too much trouble to do in the first place?
