Jonson is having a very bad, terrible, no-good day! C'mere, you...

*hugs*

Oooh, that hug might have been a mistake. I just noticed that on his user page jonson opines that Shane "seems very cool, although he might be gay."

How about those Cubbies!! Looking good this year, yessir!

Just having a joke with Shane, who knows I am a fan of his. It's a link to his reaction about Stan's lesbian catfight post.

As for eyeballkid, I know, I'm so MAD!!! Damn it, people!!!!

shane's not gay? But he's so pretty!!!
posted by WolfDaddy at 1:09 PM on January 21, 2003

Hmm, due to a comment about an episode of Star Trek, I have been changed from "seems very cool" to "seems cool/might be gay"? I'm not following. Unfortunately, due to past experiences with extreme PC liberals (and theatre folks), I feel uncomfortable and unable to assert my heterosexuality without sounding anti-gay.

What a predicament! Would it help if I linked to gratuitous pictures of women in french maid costumes? Or is that overcompensation? jonson, now I'll never pick up chicks on MeFi! (On the plus side, I guess I can flirt with Wolfdaddy now.)

Wait, I get it--I dissed a TV ad with a hot catfight in it. Is it that good? Maybe I should watch more TV.
posted by Shane at 1:29 PM on January 21, 2003

Jeez, can't a guy even make a private joke on his own user page. Sheesh. Okay, your heterosexuality is restored, as far as my goofy list page is concerned. hama7, however, is still completely fucking nuts.
posted by jonson at 1:38 PM on January 21, 2003

God, I have a guilt complex. I feel like I've dissed gays now! I should have just left my sexuality up in the air. I mean, it was good press for Mick and Bowie, right?

shane, your sexuality goes up in the air every time your legs do.

~snicker~

I don't feel dissed. You and crash continue to fight over me, I'll be fine.
posted by WolfDaddy at 1:55 PM on January 21, 2003

I'm troubled by the lack of chick representation on your user page, jonson. Aren't any of the women around here interesting enough to warrant their very own mini-scrutiny? Don't any of us make "defining comments"? Do you really hate us that much?

Shane's a guy??? But he didn't like the hot fightin' chix commercial. I'm confused.

Seriously, the page is just something dumb I put together on Saturday for my own reference, so that I could keep various users's comments in context ("yeah, he seems cool, but remember, that's the same guy who wanted to kill all the kittens in that other thread"). Honestly, I got nothing against women. Especially if they are silly hot & prone to catfighting.

Wow, the world of MetaFilter is a bizarre and scary place when viewed through jonson's eyes. Does anybody else imagine a real world analog where dozens of notebooks are filled with little notes to help him keep people straight?

Mail Carrier - Seems cool, but he keep looking at me funny. I think he may be stealing my European porn.

Mrs. Crabapple - Third Grade Home Room Teacher - when she bends down you can totally see down her blouse and she doesn't wear a bra - GROSS!!

An Amish woman was driving her buggy to town when a highway patrol officer
stopped her. "I'm not going to cite you,"said the officer. "I just wanted to
warn you that the reflector on the back of your buggy is broken and it could
be dangerous."

"I thank thee", replied the Amish lady. "I shall have my husband repair it
as soon as I return home."

"Also," said the officer, "I noticed one of your reins to your horse is
wrapped around his testicles. Some people might consider this cruelty to
animals so you should have your husband check that too."

"Again I thank thee. I shall have my husband check both when I get home."

True to her word when the Amish lady got home she told her husband about
the broken reflector, and he said he would put a new one on immediately.
"Also," said the Amish woman, "The policeman said there was something wrong
with the emergency brake.

y6y6y6 - did I say something to upset you? How am I annoyingly ubiquitous - I'm only a 1.7 on the cont. index. As far as being attention driven, yeah, as guilty as the next guy, I suppose... But fluff prone, I don't even know what that means. Are my front page posts too lightweight for your tastes? Or are you referring to my penchant for keeping male pornstars penises hard between money shots?

I'm running through your posts here. Top to bottom.

"As for eyeballkid, I know, I'm so MAD!!! Damn it, people!!!!"
"Sheesh. Okay, your heterosexuality is restored"
"Shane's a guy??? But he didn't like the hot fightin' chix commercial."
"If my member went missing, the last thing I'd......"
"Dude, the 14K club is supposed to be......"
"Hey - ain't nothin' wrong with a little Bump and Grind!!"
"I personally suffer from RDCNBD"

Pure chat.

Sure, others are quite chatty here, but I guess their chat/substance ratio is a bit better. Just my opinion. I don't know why anyone would give that any credence.

My bad, I guess I won't. For the record, I liked Miguel, so I'm not too offended by the comment, although I feel like those are bigger shoes than I could fill.

Smoking jacket. It's still too early to be talking about "replacing" Miguel, but when and if the time comes the proper metaphoric thing to "fill" will be a smoking jacket.
