Powered By Bookmarks

How about a bookmark for the lovely 'powered by' bar? It'd make it even easier to point people to how cool it is.

ok, it's late and I'm tired, but I think I know what you meant. You want a graphic that says "bookmark" and auto-bookmarks the site if you click it?

If so, that doesn't really go with the whole "powered by" thing ("powered by bookmark?"), since the things I chose to put in it were real things used to develop and maintain the site (like soda).

What I think he meant was an anchor that you could link to, instead of just telling people to "scroll all the way down on the metafilter front page". I guess something like:

http://www.metafilter.com/index.cfm#allthewaytothebottom

...Or something.

yeah, pnevares explained it better than me.

and the reason i wanted it was to point people right there. it's a nice design feature. i want to show it off (for you). but i guess i can just tell people to scroll to the bottom.

but i'm not trying to make work for you or suggest something dumb. just an idea.
