No unread threads? Unpossible! June 15, 2004 6:29 PM Subscribe
Something is rotten in the state of ask.metafilter.com. For about a day now, each time I've visited AskMe just after visiting MetaTalk, it has told me that I have no unread threads, but dozens (or hundreds) of unread messages. I imagine that somehow the threads are being marked as read when I visit MetaTalk. Eerie!
oh my! I thought I had left myself logged in at a friend's apartment & he just happend to check ask.me right before me every time.

Ah, probably something I screwed up in the move to the new database. I'll fix it up tonight.

Matt, if you 're already looking at this I'm getting the same across the board on an on/off basis. Opening up this morning MeFi said no new anything but MeTa was as normal. Was getting same thing in AskMe yesterday. Cheers.
