Changing Passwords June 20, 2005 4:57 PM Subscribe
Seems like this was addressed as a future To-Do item last november, but is there any way to change one's password right now or in the near fuure?

I would love this feature, if it's not too difficult to create. Upon reflection "jonson" was an obvious password, and now I feel foolish, looking back at some of the horrendous things random strangers have posted under this account. posted by jonson at 5:18 PM on June 20, 2005
After the login incident all accounts with name=password have been disabled I think. Apart from that, 9/10 for effort though. posted by fvw at 5:25 PM on June 20, 2005
Hey, johnson is not your password! posted by dg at 5:44 PM on June 20, 2005
Umm, or jonson. posted by dg at 5:45 PM on June 20, 2005
uh oh... jonson ISN'T my password? Crap, I better never log out. So far (3 years & counting) so good. posted by jonson at 5:54 PM on June 20, 2005
I just want you to know that I've posted only high-minded and worthy contributions under your name. Well, except for that time I had you call one of the most respected members of MeFi a 'vicious, turd-eating guttersnipe.' Boy, I'll bet your face was red! posted by languagehat at 6:00 PM on June 20, 2005
I remember that, but I think you said a "viscous" turd-eating guttersnipe. It made me loose all respect for jonson. posted by taz at 9:13 PM on June 20, 2005
Yeah. "Loose and runny turd-eating guttersnipe" would have been a much more effective insult. posted by nebulawindphone at 12:31 PM on June 21, 2005
