Which (Currently active) Metefilter member has the most popular blog (judged by hit-count)? How about a non-blog site? Who is the most (web-influental) Mefi-member?
Full disclosure: I've seen more anime than Den Beste.

If Technorati is any indicator ... doctorow, ottomatik, xeni-jardin and the others at boingboing run the most popular blog. (Whether you can classify them as "active" is open for debate.)
Though all of us as a whole rank #16 in Technorati's popularity contest.

The only way to possibly know this is to get everyone to post their hit counts, wouldn't you agree?
Who is the most (web-influental) Mefi-member?
According to whom? You're asking questions that can't be answered. Why? Do you want to compare how popular your blog is with the blogs of others? Is that what this is about?

I am the hottest woman/man. Although if analyzed separately I would only be the 1,833rd hottest woman or the 2,986th hottest man. But I rule in the hermaphrodite category.
Who has the biggest prick on MeFi?
It's a tie between nofundy, quonsar, and fold_and_mutilate.

Would have been nice to see the government officials, cabinet membes, big lawyers and reknown real-life intellectuals walk out of the closet, at least for a moment..

So, you never heard about the former Colonel Mustard's ignominious demotion? He's the one they scapegoated for the Abu Ghraib abuses.
The Clue game should include "Bobby Ewing in the shower with a snowglobe"...
And, as long as NickDouglas has come out and admitted being part of that Contagious Media doppelganger known as Blogebrity (which will only continue to exist until their appeal to the Supreme Court to get the Florida CM vote recounted is struck down although they may hold out some hope since O'Connor is retiring), let me say that I am NOT personally lobbying for their "C-List", since any list that also fails to include Scalzi, stav, quonsar, the Presurfer, GaelFC, theBrad, dabitch, MoNickels, skot, Mr.BaliHai, Rogers C., April Winchell, Mark Evanier, 'Clicked' Will and Jerry&Amid of Cartoon Brew (essentially 75% of my non-pro blogwatching) is not a club I want to be a member of. And Nick, how much do the BoingBoingers pay you to mention them every goddamned day?!?

wendell writes "Finding Bobby Ewing in the shower holding a snowglobe with a tiny hospital in it."
Wouldn't that be Victoria Principal and not Suzanne Pleshette? I'm pretty sure, but then my experiences at uni have lead me to doubt some of the memories I have which date back more than a couple of years.

clevershark, I was doing a mash-up of the "Newhart", "Dallas" and "St. Elsewhere" (the snowglobe) "It was all a dream" story cop-outs. I have previously stated publicly my philosophical opposition to the entire plot device.

If you want "blogger most removed from reality," that'd be me, now that I write on Blogebrity. And man, that site is NOT popular around here. If there's one thing forum posters don't like, it's people with real audiences.

It was meant to convey how odd it was to see a reference to a long past event--the blogosphere's collapse under the weight of its own self-importance--described as if it were about to happen.
Iknow. But Suzanne's still easy on the eyes.

Nuh uh--the imagination is within, not without. It was internal use for you to even think that.

Full disclosure: I've seen more anime than Den Beste.

MetaFilter: Rome wasn't burned in a day.
Sorry, Suzanne Pleshette's married. And to him:
But he's 15 years older than she is, so you could probably wait him out; and if she's atracted to Mr. Bickley, any of us MeFites has a shot. Right?
And I've seen more Den Beste than anime. And I am not proud of that.

'Those aren't pillows' was one of my old university gang's long dadaesque list of lines we'd pull out at intervals as random as possible to amuse ourselves, confuse others, and thus keep our tribe strong and exclusive. I thank you for reminding me of that.
