Pony request: I seem to be eternally replying to something in Recent Activity, only to find I've actually responded to the wrong thread. I'm not sure I'm entirely alone in this...

Love the new ajax flagging and looking forward to seeing it on the other sites. I especially like that it shows that you have flagged something, and would like to see an option to remove said flag in case of a mistake, or regretting a knee-jerk reaction.

I wasn't able to find any previous mention of this, but what if someone decides they didn't want to flag a post? Can we have a feature that lets people change their mind if they flag something? I say this after reconsidering flagging my own supposed
double post.

AskMe should be a ‘the commenter didn’t read the question’ flag.

Pony request, in light of
this thread -- flagging options include "noise", "derail" or "doesn't follow the guidlines" but it seems to me AskMe requires another option, kind of an opposite to "fantastic post" -- how about adding "Doesn't answer the question"?
But that would require AskMe specific flags, which might be difficult or impossible. Instead, how about an "Irrelevant" flag?

Idea: Add links to a person's fantastic posts/comments/answers to their profile pages, as a kind of personal scoreboard.
Been wondering how to give people "attaboys" for good commentary and answers. Why not list these accomplishments on their profile pages? I did some searches, and the idea has been proposed before, but I can't find a similar suggestion that's more recent than four years ago.
Profiles already have links to a person's posts, and if I drill down I can see which ones have been flagged as fantastic -- so why not put this front and center on the profiles?

It's possible for an AskMeFi poster to mark responses as best answers. It's possible for anyone to flag an answer as a fantastic comment. Why not amalgamate the two and have all the top answers in one place? Then, why not highlight all comments flagged as fantastic in AskMeFi, MetaFilter and MetaTalk the way best answers are currently highlighted in AskMeFi?

Why not place the [!] flag on the front page instead of having to open a thread? The
Dish TV post is so bad on so many levels that I felt all icky opening it to flag it.

This had me thinking: wouldn't it make sense to have "needs 'more inside'" as a reason when flagging posts? I flagged it, but had to put "other;" and, if memory serves, plenty of good first-time posters have had their first threads derailed by the first few "whoa! muddying up the front page there!" comments.

This post about readings for a wedding has great responses, and links to other threads with great responses
(disclaimer: I responded to one of them.) I flagged the link as Other, expecting to be able to comment, but sadly, there is no comment capability. Please administrator, consider granting this pony, "comments on the flag page," if it is not too large and cumbersome.

Would it be possible to auto delete a post if the original author flags it as a double post? I double posted, I flagged it, but it is still there, perhaps I should be able to remove it?
