When I click on a thread, (PDA, or Secret Santa story) I cannot save the info to my computer, is this a problem with a my computer(or skill) or something with MeFi?
(looks around the empty room) perhaps this is to-do with more sites not allowing visitors to down load. to implicate possible MeFi malfunction seemed a little premature. (im just a little ruffled that i can glean that nifty Cheney PDA)

what browser and operating system are you using?
what method are using to try and save the page?
can you tell us what error message you are getting in lieu of a succesful save?
theres nothing on the mefi end of things that would prevent saving a thread to your hard drive, so it's more than likely a problem with your own computer (probably a full browser cache, or a disk related issue)
