It'd be kind of awesome if we could see, in some generic way like "hits", how many looks our MeJobs job postings have gotten.

Each and every person who works here smells wonderful. Like cedar after the rain, like chocolate malt, like cardamom and honey, like fresh apples, like cinnamon cookies, like, um, tangerines, &c. Though not all at once. Just sayin'.

Can't think a hit count would be too useful. I'm a nosey and occasionally bored primate -- like most -- and may look at listings just to see what's up, with zero intention of applying.

This is probably true of any linked field or entry on MetaFilter, for that matter.

Embed one of them 1x1 clear pixel GIFs in your post and watch the logs. Hrm, I guess that's not possible any more with the IMG tag gone. And kinda disrespectful of a thing to do in general. So, no, I guess forget I suggested that.
