Four People Beating Up On Someone (YT): For the Blue? April 10, 2008 2:47 PM   Subscribe

I want to single link youtube post this to the blue, because it's probably the most disgusting thing I've ever seen broadcast on modern television, and I think it warrants discussion. Appropriate?

Thinking about it, there's probably some color I can throw in for other links...still, too inflammatory to base a post around?

I'm at work, I'm not watching the video right now. I'm gonna stick my neck out and say "No."

Didn't we already have a post on the pregnant man when his essay The Advocate came out? It seems like it'd be a follow up to that in the thread. Unless it'd be a post about the mistreatment of transpeople in the media with other links like that.

Sooooo, by posting here instead of emailing MaTexAmyn you get the discussion whether or not you post it to the blue!

Brilliant!

I can't actually get the video to load and I've already got pretty massive reservations. This is an offensive clip from a 3am FOX News show, if I'm getting the context from the Youtube comments and profile?

Appropriate?

You need to frame it better and have good links (note the plural), please don't post it.

Also, yeah, don't post it.

So are we waiting for Matt to chime in, or can we start the snark?

I'm generally disgusted by FOX news, so I choose not to watch it. I don't think their inflammatory policies are "news" in and of themselves.

Thanks all, and sorry if the "test post" was inappropriate, jessamyn.

Can't be more disgusting than this.

No, because we already had this discussion.

No, because the point of this post is basically "Fox suxx amirite?"

No, because this post has "trainwreck" written all over it.

No, because "I think it warrants discussion" is a bad reason for an FPP.

No, because this is not the best of the web.

it warrants discussion

No it doesn't.

"No, because this is not the best of the web."

Oh, for Christ's sake.

Yay, I love it when we all agree. I'm going to close this if that's okay. No harm in asking though. Might want to try email first next time.
